Company Beck Textilmaschinenhandel GmbH was founded in October 1984 by Mr. Hans-Jürgen Beck, with head office in Albstadt-Onstmettingen.

Due to the excellent development and the strong market position of company Beck, a relocation to new premises became necessary. Since then, the company's head-quarter is in Albstadt-Lautlingen.

From 1984 until 2005 company Beck was a distributor for a leading european producer of circular knitting machines and in that position responsible for the market in Germany, the Benelux and Eastern Europe.

Based on our experience for more than 20 years as well as the already existing skilled construction engineers and technicians, the decision was made in 2006 to develop and produce our own circular knitting machines.

In addition to the production of circular knitting machines, the company O.B. Italia was founded in 2007 for the production of our own circular knitting cylinders. 2007 the production was expanded by founding an additional production plant in Czech Republic.

In the end of 2008 and after 25 years of successful company management Mr. Hans-Jürgen Beck handed over the enterprise to his son, Mr. Oliver Beck.
